Civil movement

Explain Forward Movement | western news

What is forward movement?

The Forward Party is a hotbed for moderates, independents and disgruntled partisan voters, weary of the political war that is tearing this country apart.

Through actively inclusive civil discourse, we first create political change at the community level by advocating for preferential voting, open primaries, and independent constituency commissions.

By partnering with other pro-democracy organizations to endorse nonpartisan elected officials who support our principles and goals, and by becoming a pivot in Congress to bridge the middle ground between extremes, we can return power to voters and their communities without the black money fueled feud between the extremists who have taken over our system.

These leaders will maximize the good by creating bills based on dialogue, vibrant democracy, and upholding freedom for all.

We stand for anything that creates thriving communities and economies and a better quality of life for everyone, regardless of anything that doesn’t harm others; color, race, creed, religion, gender, sex, marital status, disabilities, physical appearance, likes or dislikes. Through community engagement, education and open communication, we can vote for and elect leaders who represent more than the most extreme among us. This is our goal.

It’s our platform.
